Why Participate?
- This event will provide a platform to connect, exchange, and build cooperation between European and Belarusian youth organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Explore cooperation opportunities with Belarusian youth organizations and informal groups.
- Understand the current reality of Belarusian youth work, both inside and outside Belarus.
- Visit Belarusian youth organizations operating in Poland and learn about their initiatives.
- Discover the Podlasie region, home to a historic Belarusian community, and explore youth work in a local context.
- Network and build partnerships for future Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects.
Profiles of Participants:
We are looking for:
- Youth workers, youth leaders, project coordinators, NGO representatives.
- Those actively engaged in youth work.
- Those having potential to develop international youth projects and partnerships within Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps.
Programme Highlights
Warsaw (12-14 May)
- Integration activities and introduction to Belarusian youth work
- Study visits to Belarusian youth organizations based in Warsaw
- Discussions on challenges and opportunities for cooperation
Hajnówka & Podlasie Region (14-16 May)
- Meeting with local youth organizations in Hajnówka
- Exploring the Belarusian cultural heritage in the region
- Thematic workshops and networking sessions
Since the 2020 protests and ongoing political repression, many Belarusians have been forced to leave the country or face restrictions on civic engagement. Participants from Erasmus+ Programme countries and Belarus (both those living in the country and those residing in the EU) are welcome to apply. Accommodation and food
The hosting SALTO EECA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Participation fee
Participants from Belarus will not pay participation fee. Participants from the Programme Countries are requested to contact their National Agency in order to clarify this issue. It will depend on each NA's policy.
Travel reimbursement
SALTO EECA will be able to cover travel costs for participants from Belarus.
Participants from the Programme Countries, please contact your National Agency (NA) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
