Interregional seminar on developing games and other educational tools to promote youth cooperation between the programme and the neighbouring partner countries [part of the Beyond Borders SNAC]
Description
AIM of the project: to promote values and benefits of youth cooperation between the programme and the neighbouring partner regions (later referred as PC+NPC).
OBJECTIVES of the project:
- to identify advantages and benefits of youth cooperation between PC+NPC;
- to use game design as a methodology for promoting youth cooperation between the PC+NPC;
- to develop games and tools to encourage interregional youth cooperation;
- to network for future collaboration.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE:
- experience in international youth work, especially in youth cooperation between the PC+NPC;
- experience in game development will be a strong asset;
- involvement in (affiliation with) organisation or youth group, allowing to develop international youth projects and partnerships within Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps;
- speaking English.
In total the group will consist of approx. 25 participants in total (five from each of the 3 neighbouring regions = 15 + ten from the programme countries).
TEAM
The activity will be facilitated by the team of 2 experienced youth trainers: Pavel Vassiljev and Mirela Rajković. One officer of SALTO EECA and one from Swiss National Agency will join the team. During the residential seminar in Armenia, the team will be reinforced by the local logistic person.
TIMEFRAME:
- online meeting in mid-September focusing on the advantages of youth cooperation between the programme and partner countries;
- online meeting in mid-October on quality game design;
- residential activity: from 17.11 lunch time (arrival in the morning) till 20.11 dinner (departures from 21.11 early morning)
The participants will be also communicated after the residential event to clarify the ideas / games mock-ups and later to test the games before final production.
After the final production, in case those are physical games or games including physical items, all the involved participants will receive them either by post/courier or any other agreed way.
Accommodation and food
The organisers of this event will provide the accommodation and food during the seminar. The transfers from the airport to the venue will be prearranged and covered by the organisers.

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme in frames of the Beyond Borders strategic partnership (https://beyondb.eu). Some NAs charge participation fee either directly or as a part of the travel reimbursement.
