EGL study visit to Moldova gathers participants to exchange good practices, strengthen municipal youth work, and deepen cooperation through mentoring, networking, and peer learning with EECA region and European Union Countries.

About the Project:
This study visit, part of the Europe Goes Local initiative, aims to strengthen municipal youth work by connecting local authorities and youth professionals across Europe. Through peer learning, mentoring, and local field visits, the programme encourages quality development in youth policy, supports the EGL mentoring process, and fosters sustainable European cooperation.
Monday, 4 August – Arrival & Integration
- Arrivals in Chisinau and hotel check-in
- Welcome session
- Group integration and networking activities
Tuesday, 5 August – Local Partnerships & Exchange
- Visit to Chisinau City Hall and meetings with local EGL partners (library, youth centres)
- Presentations of participants’ municipalities using digital tools
- Contact-making and interest matching
- Overview of support measures (Erasmus+ Youth, ESC, EGL) with Q&A
Wednesday, 6 August – Good Practices in Youth Work
- Workshop on quality development in municipal youth work
- Visit to Sipoteni Municipality
- Free time
Thursday, 7 August – Regional Visits & Reflections
- Transfer to Kahul
- Meeting with Kahul Municipality representatives
- Transfer back to Chisinau
- Reflection and evaluation of the visit
Friday, 8 August – Group Workshops & Reporting
Note: Non-mentoring participants will depart on this day.
SALTO/EECA Group:
- Midterm evaluation for mentees
- Preparation of reporting
- Mentoring for next steps
Please note that the accommodation provided can be in single/twin rooms depending on the avaialbility and local conditions.

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country.
