About the Training
This 3-day journey is designed to develop the competences of youth workers in exploring and approaching digital transformation in their work. It builds on the insights and lessons learned from the long-term training Digital Transformers, organized by SALTO PI and SALTO ID Resources Centres.
Objectives
- Gain a deeper understanding of what digital transformation is.
- Explore how digital transformation impacts youth work and non-formal education.
- Learn various approaches to integrating digital transformation into Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects.
Target Group
We are looking for 24 participants, including:
- Erasmus+ and ESC project managers.
- Youth workers.
- Individuals interested in exploring digital transformation.
- Those open to new solutions and project ideas related to digital transformation.
Topics & Sessions
- Exploring the digital culture(s) of young people.
- Essential aspects of digital transformation, including Erasmus+ and ESC context.
- Project examples addressing certain digital transformation aspects.
- Harnessing/utilizing digital solutions in international youth projects.
- Immersing in technical/digital activity.
- Development of digital youth work ideas and networking.
- Showcasing makers activities (hands-on experience with digital tools).
The Training Narrative
The training is structured like a journey of ‘digital transformers,’ progressing through levels where each stage adds new powers, tools, and capacities to become a versatile digital transformer. Participants will engage in:
- Missions that involve problem-solving through brainstorming, prototyping, and sharing solutions.
- Practical exercises designed to enhance digital skills and strategies in youth work.
- Level achievements recognized by digital badges, leading to the final Digital Transformer Badge.
Online Learning & Preparation
Before and after the residential training, participants will have access to:
- An onboarding meeting and online learning space on HOP.
- Online learning sessions to complement the in-person experience.
- Networking opportunities with fellow participants and trainers.

Unterkunft und Verpflegung
The hosting NA of this offer will organise the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food. Meals will be served buffet-style, and dietary preferences or restrictions will be considered at a later stage after participant selection. Accommodation will be provided in twin rooms.

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
