Outdoor Hard Skills

The Outdoor Hard Skills Training Course is a seven-day program designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of outdoor experiential education while building the technical skills necessary for facilitating impactful non-formal learning programs in outdoor settings.

Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including low&high rope courses, group-building activities, and a short overnight expedition in the woods. These activities are tailored to enhance both personal and professional growth, combining self-experience with practical skill development.

The program objectives are:

• Provide Strong Self-Experience: Engage participants in outdoor experiential activities to strengthen their self-awareness.
• Develop the Competence of using low rope elements: Enhance the skills required to use low rope elements as an educational tool.
• Develop the Competence of using expedition: Enhance the skills required to use spending an overnight in the woods (short expedition) as an educational tool.
• Increase awareness of the importance of wilderness first aid and outdoor risk management.
• Experience High Rope Activities Understand high rope activities by participating as a learner

By the end of the Outdoor Hard Skills Training Course, participants will be equipped with foundational skills, practical tools, and enhanced self-awareness to effectively integrate outdoor experiential education into their programs, creating safe, impactful, and meaningful learning experiences in outdoor settings.

The training course is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme. Therefore, the costs of accommodation and food are covered by the project during the programme days.
You will be provided meals 3 times a day.

Travel costs will be reimbursed based on the real costs not exceeding the lump sums based on the travel distances (by EU distance Calculator), in Euro:

• 10-99 km - 28 €/ green travel - 56 €
• 100-499 km - 211 €/ green travel - 285 €
• 500-1999 km - 309 €/ green travel 417 €
• 2000-2999 km - 395 €/green travel 535 €
