*Youth worker is understood as someone who works with young people in a wide variety of non-formal and informal learning contexts, typically focusing on young people's personal and social development through one-on-one relationships and group-based activities.

**”Networking and advocating” competence means developing and managing partnerships with other relevant actors. It’s the ability to facilitate networking with others (in their community and outside it) and advocate for the value of youth work. It’s about being conscious on (political) values and beliefs and abilities to support young people in developing independent ‘political thought’.
