Visuals for Demilitarisation
We will learn tools of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, Non Violent Communication, media and visual literacy, to explore topics of identities, nationalism and demilitarisation through participatory non-formal education methodology.
Description
We aim to equip 25 young youth workers from diverse backgrounds working with visuals or willing to incorporate visual tools in their work with tools of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, non-violent communication, emotional literacy, media and visual literacy and visual communication. Additionally we aim to explore topics of identities, nationalism and demilitarisation to address European and regional tensions with non-violent means.
Are you an artist or youth worker with artistic aspirations? Are you interested in the topic of demilitarization and peacebuilding? Would you like to participate in non-formal education workshops on peace education and social change? If yes, we’re looking for:
25 participants based in Cyprus, Poland, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Türkiye, Romania and Greece
