Join the 2nd round of our training and learn how to successfully organise and design an international youth exchange! Improve your ideas and create a suitable project design to implement a youth exchange made for your target group.
Description
"Design your Youth Exchange" is a Training Course about how to successfully organise and design an international youth exchange with the Erasmus+ Youth program. During the one-week training, we will improve our ideas, gain the necessary expertise and create a suitable project design to implement a youth exchange.
With the expertise acquired, each participant should be enabled to draft an application and develop a suitable project for our specific target groups, especially for young people with fewer opportunities. The training course also offers time to get to know each other and exchange experiences for inspiration and learning from each other.
Training goals:
- Creation and improvement of own project designs for Youth Exchanges
- Learning and deepening of knowledge about Erasmus+ (and other funding possibilities)
- Getting to know (creative) international youth work methods in practice
- Competence development for the integration of young people with fewer opportunities
- Discussion of relevant topics for the implementation of your projects
Target group:
Project coordinators / Group leaders / Youth workers / NGO staff / Other interested people working with youth and willing to design a youth exchange
Furthermore, the participants:
+ have at least some basic ideas to realize a youth exchange
+ are motivated to learn about the implementation possibilities of Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges
+ are willing to participate in the entire program
+ are supported by an organization or informal group to realize Youth Exchanges
+ have a sufficient command of the English language are minimum 18 years old
To apply for the training, you have to be resident in one of the Erasmus+ Program countries (All EU member states or North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Türkiye).

To apply, please fill out the application form by September 1st at the latest. You will be informed of our selection by September 5th.
If you have any questions and would prefer to talk to us in person before applying, we are offering a consultation hour via Google Meet on August 29th between 5:00 and 6:00 pm (CET). Participation is not mandatory for interested applicants. If you’re interested in participating in the consultation, please send a mail to satellitesprojects@gmail.com to receive the link.
This training course is a cooperation is funded by the European Union and by the state of Saxony with the support of AGJF Sachsen e.V. and Uferlotsen.
Accommodation and food
All costs of the training (accomodation in shared double rooms, meals, program) are covered by the fundings and the participation fee.

Your travel expenses can be reimbursed up to a maximum fixed amount (see table below):
10 - 99 km: 23,00€ (Standard travel)
100 - 499 km: 180,00€ (Standard travel) / 210,00€ (Green travel)
500 - 1999 km: 275,00€ (Standard travel) / 320,00€ (Green travel)
2000 - 2999 km: 360,00€ (Standard travel) / 410,00€ (Green travel)
3000 - 3999 km: 530,00€ (Standard travel) / 610,00€ (Green travel)
