AIM

The aim of this training course is to enrich youth workers with the necessary skills to provide young refugees with opportunities to develop their sense of initiative and self-confidence.

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop your competences in the youth sector and strengthen your skills in designing and implementing non-formal education activities in the field of social inclusion of young refugees
  • Get in touch with youth workers and other stakeholders working with young refugees
  • Focus on the development of skills and competences of young refugees, as well as on mental health and well-being
  • Gain a networking space for future collaboration
  • Exchange tools and good practices

PARTICIPANTS PROFILE

Participants should:
- be active in the youth sector
- commit themselves to applying the skills they have acquired at work after the end of the activity
- create learning opportunities for young people, in particular for young people with fewer opportunities
- be at least eighteen (18) years old
- have the linguistic ability to communicate in English

DATE & PLACE

The activity will take place in Ioannina, Greece (Grand Serai Congress and Spa Hotel, Dodonis Avenue, 33, Ioannina 452 21).

All participants will be accommodated in twin rooms.

Accommodation and food

The hosting NA will organise the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food.

Eastern Partnership countries, Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, Western Balkan countries

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
