Call for the youth organisations' representative youth workers, working on the local level to participate in the training course aiming to develop the competencies of youth workers to successfully run local youth work.

Description

Call for participants to participate in "Grassroots Academy" training course. 

The project is funded under Erasmus+ Accreditation in the Field of Youth, by Turkish national agency.

The project considers 4 mobilities in different countries: 

1. Training Course - Grassroots Academy in Georgia

2. Training Course in Bulgaria.

3. Partnership-Building activity in Madeira, Portugal. 

The venue and the dates will be decided later. 

Each of the activities are connected to each other and we are expecting from the partners to be ready to participate in all of them.

Objectives of the first training course - Grassroots Academy: 

  • Equip youth workers with the competencies to run activities with non-formal educational (NFE) methodologies.
  • To develop the gamification approaches in the learning process as the tool to attract more young people.
  • To create the curricula/a program of grassroots youth work with the use of NFE methods.
  • Foster intercultural exchange and cooperation between youth workers from diverse backgrounds.

Profile of the partner organisations:

We are looking for partner organisations (from the Program and Partner countries, as defined in the Erasmus+ program guide) to join us on this journey, which are active in real, impactful local youth work. The partner organisations should be capable to select and involve 2-3 youth workers in the following profile: 

  •  Aged at least 18 - no upper-age limit.
  • Fully involved in the training course and implement the follow-up/dissemination activities.
  • A resident of the E+ program or partner countries and represent organisation.
  • Professional youth worker, working with the young people on daily basis.
  • Be able to freely communicate in English.
  • Interested in project topics and implement them in practice.

 

 

 

Accommodation and food

The accommodation and meal costs (3-time meals with 2 coffee breaks a day) will be funded. The activity will be held in Hotel Melodia Kazbegi. The participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms.

Travel reimbursement

The travel will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ Program guide. The exact reimbursement limits can be seen in the info-pack.
