GreenUp! Driving Sustainable Action in Erasmus+ Youth and ESC
This training on the green priority in E+ and ESC empowers youth workers to engage with ecological issues. Participants explore interactive methods, tools, and best practices for sustainability and learn how to design and deliver greener projects.

Do you want to inspire more young people to engage with ecological issues? Do you want to explore methods and tools for ecological sustainability? Do you want to make your Erasmus+ youth or ESC projects more environmentally friendly? Then apply for this training course, taking place at the beautiful riverside of the Rhine close to Bonn, Germany.
- Online Prep Meeting with Participants: 10th June, 10 - 11.30 am (CET), on Zoom
- Training dates: 28 June – 3 July 2026 (Training starts with dinner on 28th June, Departure after breakfast on 3rd July)
- Location: Arbeitnehmerzentrum Königswinter (AZK), Königswinter near Bonn, Germany
- Participants: approx. 30
The target group is youth workers and beneficiaries who want to deepen their knowledge on ecological sustainability. The level is advanced. Working language is English.
Objectives
Inspire Young People to Engage with Ecological Issues
- Learn effective ways to motivate and empower young people to care about the environment.
- Understand how to communicate ecological challenges in a way that is inspiring and action-oriented.
- Develop skills to facilitate discussions, lead activities, and create experiences that foster a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for sustainability.
Explore Methods and Tools for Ecological Sustainability
- Discover a variety of educational methods, interactive tools, and creative games that promote ecological awareness.
- Gain insights into and exchange best practices for integrating sustainability into European youth programs and educational settings.
Make Your Erasmus+ Youth or European Solidarity Corps Projects More Environmentally Friendly
- Learn how to design and implement projects with a lower ecological footprint and bigger positive handprint.
- Explore ways to travel green, reduce waste, use sustainable materials, and incorporate green practices into planning and execution.

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting NA or SALTO of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Participation fee
This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps Programmes. The participation fee varies from country to country.
