Partnership Building Activity - Queerasmus
This activity aims to bring together LGBTQ+ organisations working with young people that are interested in developing cooperation projects within Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.
Description
The activity will offer a dedicated space for organisations working with and for LGBTQ+ young people to meet, exchange experiences, and establish meaningful partnerships for future international learning mobility projects. It is designed for organisations that wish to explore cooperation opportunities, strengthen their networks, and increase the quality of Erasmus+ Youth and ESC projects.
The main objectives of this Partnership Building Activity are to:
- Facilitate networking and mutual understanding between LGBTQ+ youth organisations.
- Support partnership building for future Erasmus+ Youth and ESC projects.
- Exchange experiences related to working with LGBTQ+ young people in an international context.
- Increase participants’ understanding of cooperation opportunities within Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.
- Encourage the development of concrete project ideas and follow-up initiatives.
By bringing together organisations with similar missions and realities, the activity aims to contribute to higher-quality, more inclusive, and more impactful European youth projects.
Profile of Participants:
- Representatives of LGBTQ+ youth (work) organisations.
- Youth workers, youth leaders, project coordinators, or organisational representatives.
- Organisations active at local, regional, or national level working with LGBTQ+ young people
- Organisations interested in developing or strengthening international cooperation within Erasmus+ Youth and/or ESC.
Participants should:
- Be part of a LGBTQ+ youth work organisation or movement working with LGBTQ+ young people.
- Be motivated to actively engage in networking and partnership building.
- Be interested in developing future international projects (Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, Cooperation Partnerships, ESC Volunteering, etc.) and have the capacity for them within the organisation.
- Both experienced organisations and newcomers to Erasmus+ or ESC are welcome.
Methodology
The programme will be based on non-formal education principles and will include:
- Interactive networking and partnership-building sessions.
- Peer learning and experience-sharing spaces.
- Structured opportunities to explore cooperation ideas.
- Project development and matchmaking activities.
- Reflection and follow-up planning
Participants are expected to take an active role throughout the activity by sharing their organisational realities, learning from others, and co-creating potential future collaborations.
Arrival day 11.5. - dinner and possible short programme after, departure day is 15.5. without programme.
Accommodation and food
The Czech NA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. Accommodation is in single rooms.
