“Towards Collaborative Practice” TCP Forum: A cross-sectorial event exploring the potential of Youth Work and Erasmus+ to foster employability and social entrepreneurship among young people

Description

The 8th edition of the TCP Forum will be an opportunity to discuss future pathways on how intercultural backgrounds can contribute to employability, a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship (entrepreneurship for inclusion and participation, migrants’ integration and multiculturalism).

Building on the success of the 7 previous “Towards Collaborative Practice” (TCP) Forums that took place in Sweden, Italy, UK, Hungary, Spain, Cyprus and Greece, TCP returns to Italy.

To get a feel of the event, please watch the highlight videos of two previous editions:

Budapest Hungary (November 2018): www.youtube.com/watch

Why Italy and the theme, what are the needs and best hopes

The Forum will be a melting pot of ideas, tools and good practices which participants, representing different sectors, will have the opportunity to further explore through relevant keynote speeches, workshops and field visits. The Forum will also foster future cooperation among participants for the implementation of innovative projects and initiatives under the Erasmus+ EU Programme.

General objectives of the TCP Forum:

Provide an opportunity for networking and sharing ideas, tools, methods, challenges and good practices to foster employability and entrepreneurship, especially in marginalized communities.

Showcase social entrepreneurship and non-formal learning as a way to encourage and enable young people to sustain their entrepreneurship competences.

Encourage creativity, innovation, participation, solidarity, diversity and social inclusion of young people.

Provide information on Erasmus+ and other opportunities to foster employability and entrepreneurship.

Specific objectives of this edition of the TCP Forum:

Promote Intercultural Dialogue: Encourage open and inclusive discussions on the importance of intercultural backgrounds to promote employability and entrepreneurship for inclusive societies.

Raise awareness of and promote how intercultural backgrounds can contribute to employability, a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.

Encourage collaboration and partnership building between youth work and other sectors to foster employability, social entrepreneurship and interculturality.
