Description

Taking stock of and following up granted social entrepreneurship & entrepreneurship competences projects by Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps

Youth@Work convenes former and current beneficiaries of Erasmus+ (E+) and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) EU Programmes who led or were partners in granted projects (E+ Key Action 1, Key Action 2 & European Solidarity Corps - Solidarity and Volunteering Projects) focusing on entrepreneurship competences or using social entrepreneurship as a route towards youth social & economic empowerment, participation in democratic life and social inclusion.

This seminar will be a gathering of youth workers and other youth professionals involved in social entrepreneurship (ongoing or finalised) projects granted by any of the two EU programmes. It will create a space for sharing, peer learning, networking, as well as provide information and inspiration enabling the project owners to follow-up their respective projects.

The selected participants need to be ready to share their past/ongoing granted (social) entrepreneurship project, learn from experience and be willing to follow it up.

Objectives:

  • Create a space for Erasmus+ & European Solidarity Corps beneficiaries working in the field of entrepreneurship competences and social entrepreneurship to meet, exchange their learning and experience, and pave the way for following up their projects.
  • Empower participants and strengthen their competences to support young people in developing social entrepreneurial ideas.
  • Get deeper in the Erasmus+ and ESC programmes and how they can impact  youth competences and foster social entrepreneurship.
  • Inspire participants to create new collaborations/networks/projects connected to social entrepreneurial initiatives.

Methodology:

The Methodology will be based on the principles of Non-Formal Education and will encourage the active participation of the attendants, combining good practice sharing, with a study visit, and different workshops and spaces for networking and partnership-building.
