Baku, Azerbaijan
SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus
Register
Registration deadline: 24. August 2025

This PBA gathers youth workers involved in youth employability, focusing on migrants and displaced youth. It offers space for sharing, peer learning, networking, and inspiration to launch or improve future projects.

Description

This activity is part of the Youth@Work Partnership, supporting the development of youth employability and entrepreneurship competencies through Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. The PBA will gather representatives of organisations that have implemented or are planning youth projects focused on increasing the employability of young people from migrant and internally displaced backgrounds. The aim is to enhance cooperation, explore good practices, and foster meaningful and sustainable partnerships, especially with organisations from the Neighbourhood East countries, as well as Programme countries.

Learning Objectives

  • Exchange good practices. Share lessons learnt from ongoing or completed projects that support the youth employability of migrants and IDPs.
  • Foster cross-sectoral cooperation. Enable networking and partnership-building for future Erasmus+ and ESC projects targeting youth employability.
  • Strengthen competences. Empower youth professionals with tools, methods, and strategies for working with vulnerable youth groups on employability.
  • Support follow-up initiatives. Inspire project ideas and collaborations that can be developed and submitted in future EU calls.
  • Explore youth employability ecosystems. Understand local realities, policies, and support structures that impact the employability of young migrants and displaced youth.

Profile of Participants

We are looking for 26 youth workers, youth leaders, and project managers from Erasmus+ Programme countries and Neighbourhood East countries who:

  • Have experience working with migrant or internally displaced youth;
  • Have been involved in Erasmus+ focused on youth employability or inclusion;
  • Are interested in developing future projects and partnerships in this field.

Methodology

The programme will use non-formal education methods, including interactive workshops, networking sessions, panel discussions with guest speakers, project design spaces, and learning circles. Participants will take an active role through sharing their project experiences, engaging in thematic discussions, and co-creating ideas for future collaboration projects.
