Österreich erzählt. Europa wählt – Melanie Walek, an apprentice from Lower Austria

Acquiring expertise and being open for Europe – Melanie Walek is a third-year wholesale apprentice and has completed part of her training in Northern Ireland with Erasmus+.

Expanding one's own horizon, living the European idea and bringing a breath of fresh air to the world of work in Austria – Klaus Moormann, Melanie’s apprentice trainer at the company Kontinentale in Gerasdorf in Lower Austria confirms that international experience can be a career motor.

As part of the online video discussion series entitled “Österreich erzählt. Europa wählt.” Melanie Walek and Klaus Moormann met the Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. In the run-up to the elections to the European Parliament (May 26th, 2019) the video discussion series aims to make the great significance of the European project publicly visible and to call upon the population beyond all political parties to make use of their democratic right to vote in the European elections.
