The first day of the conference was dedicated to the topic of higher education cooperation after Brexit. The keynote speech "The UK's role in the world, soft power and international relationships Post-Brexit" was given by Andy Mackay (Director Europe, British Council).

Afterwards Sabine Seidler (Vienna University of Technology), Barbara Weitgruber (Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), Wolfgang Bogensberger (European Commission) and Martin Gilbert (British Council) discussed about the possible effects of the Brexit for Europe and Austria as a location for science and research.

The conference also focused on the attractiveness of Austria as a location for education, new funding initiatives and the Erasmus+ educational programme as of 2021.

The evening was dedicated to the common future of the OeAD-GmbH and KulturKontakt Austria as of 2020. The celebration took place at the Reaktor in Vienna.

The second day offered the opportunity to attend forums on subject-specific topics, training courses and to get practical advice.
