Privacy Policy (follow-up questionnaire)
1. General Information
The purpose of this follow-up questionnaire is to find out more about the experiences of participants who are not part of a funded European Universities Alliance, as well as what has since been implemented or at least initiated at their institutions. Further information can be found on the SPREAD EUI project website.
2. Categories of data processed / Purpose limitation
The following personal data of the respondents will be processed:
- First name
- Last name
- email-address
- Higher Education Institution’s name (in English)
- Faculty/Unit
- Role/Position
- City
- Country
- Conference they have participated
- Details of projects that have been implemented or are still to be implemented
- Issues raised at the conferences
- Other information
The personal data referred to above will be processed by OeAD-GmbH for the purpose of analyzing the survey and evaluating its results and will be published in anonymized form.
3. Data processors
The data applications used to conduct the survey are operated on our behalf by IT service providers, who may gain access to your personal data in the course of their work, if they require the data to perform their respective services. These IT service providers are obliged to implement adequate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of your data. These IT service providers are not permitted to disclose your data (except in cases provided for by law). 4. Collection and processing of third parties’ personal data
If personal data of third parties is transmitted to us in the course of the survey, the person transmitting the data is obliged to obtain authorization and consent from the data subjects in advance regarding this data transmission and data use.
5. Disclosure of data to third parties
Personal data will be transferred to and processed by the other partners in the Spread EUI project, namely the National Agencies for Erasmus+ in Germany (DAAD), Hungary (Tempus Public Foundation) and Norway (HK dir). Publications with this data will only be made in anonymized form.
6. Legal basis, retention period
Data processing is carried out based on Article 6(1)(a) (consent) of the GDPR. All personal data will be retained for a period of 2 years from the date of submission. Upon expiry of this period, the data will generally be automatically deleted as part of the standardized deletion routine.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing datenschutz@oead.at and shall take effect from the time of withdrawal but shall not apply to any processing or anonymized publication that has taken place up to that point.
