Vienna Airport Lines buses (Line 3) stop right in front of the hotel (stop: Hotel Schani Uno-City), and the closest metro station (Kaisermühlen VIC) is an 8-minute walk away.

Dinner Information
19th May: Dinner at the NH Danube City
20th May: Dinner reception at the Residence of the Ambassador hosted by the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- Luggage, small bags brought along can be stored at the Embassy.
- Please note that a security screening will also take place at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Vienna. This includes an entrance check, metal detector screening, and bag inspection.
- Please ensure that you bring your passport with you, as it is required for entry.
- Dress code: Formal attire
- Public transport tickets to the embassy and back to the hotel will be provided by the OeAD, if needed.

World Heritage, Tourism and Sustainability: The Case of Petra in Jordan: Suleiman Farajat, University of Jordan
This session explores the complex relationship between world heritage tourism and sustainability. Using Petra as a case study, the discussion will examine the interplay between local, national, and international interests, as well as the role of heritage tourism in shaping national identity and supporting local communities. Participants will reflect on the challenges and opportunities of developing more sustainable and inclusive tourism models.
Climate Change Communication: Thawab Hilal, University of Salzburg
This session explores how climate change is currently framed and communicated in Jordan across institutions and traditional and digital media. And why these frames may (or may not) resonate with young people. Drawing on research from the Jordanian context, participants will reflect on the role of higher education institutions in building more inclusive and locally relevant climate communication practices.
Synergies in Erasmus+: From Mobility to Successful & Sustainable Partnerships: Leopold Kögler-Vencour, University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten
This session explores how successful Erasmus+ cooperation grows from shared interests, mutual benefit, and realistic expectations. It highlights how mobility can serve as a starting point for broader, strategic partnerships. Participants will reflect on how to turn individual activities into sustainable, long-term cooperation.
Resilient Infrastructure & Climate-smart Policies: Melad Olaimat, Al al-Bayt University
This session focuses on renewable energy engineering, sustainable energy technologies, and the role of higher education in advancing sustainable development. The discussion will explore renewable energy integration, innovative energy solutions, and the importance of international academic collaboration and leadership in engineering education. Participants will exchange ideas on cross-disciplinary research frameworks and collaborative approaches that connect academic innovation with practical renewable energy applications.
- All visitors must pass through a security screening before entering the building.

- Small bags may be taken on the tour. For security reasons, luggage storage facilities are not available at the VIC.
