In May 2026, the OeAD, as the National Agency for Erasmus+, in cooperation with the Jordanian National Erasmus+ Office (NEO), will organise an international cooperation seminar in Vienna for Austrian and Jordanian higher education institutions.
The draft programme will be published here soon. The working language of the seminar is English.
A limited number of places is available for Austrian participants. Selection will be based on the quality of the application; therefore, applications from multiple representatives of the same institution for different projects or actions are possible and welcome.
Participation in this event, which takes place within the framework of Erasmus+ TCA, is funded by Erasmus+. On-site costs, as well as travel expenses and (if required) two hotel nights, will be covered for Austrian participants. Different modalities exist for Jordanian applicants.
Date and Venue of the seminar
When:
- Start: 19 May at 11:00
- End: 20 May after the evening programme
- For Jordanian institutions a study visit to an Austrian higher education institution will be offered on 21 May
Where: NH Hotel Danube City, Wagramer Straße 21, 1220 Vienna
Participation in the evening programmes is expected. Therefore also for the Austrian participants, a second overnight stay from 20 to 21 May will be covered if required. In the spirit of international cooperation, it is essential that Austrian participants attend the entire event.
Content and objectives
The aim of the event is to initiate and further develop partnerships and projects within the Erasmus+ actions International Credit Mobility (KA171), Capacity Building in Higher Education and Erasmus Mundus.
Target group
The event is aimed at staff members of higher education institutions who intend to submit joint applications with Jordanian partners under the actions International Credit Mobility (KA171), Capacity Building in Higher Education, and Erasmus Mundus projects. This includes International Office staff and academic staff. Please note that participants are required to have the authority to initiate cooperation agreements.
Interested applicants from Austrian higher education institutions may apply by no later than Thursday, 12 February 2026, using the below online application form. Applicants will be informed whether participation is possible after the application deadline has passed.
Interested participants from Jordan institutions are asked to apply via their Jordanian National Erasmus Office under: erasmus-plus@mohe.gov.jo
